Sweet Hubba Bubba-like drink - euch!
This generates something akin to liquid strawberry Hubba Bubba - totally not refreshing or thirst quenching. You leave the sachet in a bottle of cold water, and it slowly infuses to a pleasant looking red drink. But it has a sweet, cloying smell, and is, to my palate at least, a fairly horrible drink tasting of fake sweet fruits - like children's sweets.Now if you’re a fan of the many fruit teas that are drunk hot, or alcopops designed to taste like toddler-juice, then you may well find this palatable, but I associate blackcurrants with tartness, zing, richness - all utterly lacking in this drink. One for the sweetie fans only I think.
