Is the insert (pot) stainless steel? If not what finish does this have?

It's a non-stick finish that will eventually chip and the manufacture will not provide a replacement pot. As much as we love this cooker, I'm not sure it's worth $200 to buy it again just so the pot can slowly go bad.

Is the non-stick coating free of bpa, ptfe, pfoa?

I think you will have to contact the company and ask as I don't see that info on the product or manual. I absolutely adore this thing though. There's typical non-stick and there's this thing that you can forget about and easily wash a few days later.

Can you place food in then on slow cooker set a timer for when you want it to start?

Answer supplies does not satisfy the question. I am looking for a cooker that can delay start, say set at 7 a.m. to start at 10 a.m. Looking for something like Kalorik 8 Quart Slow Cooker, Digital Programmable Oval Cook (with delay setting) but is light weight non-stick like BELLA (14124) 6.5 Quart. Does such a thing exist?
