Good - narrow at ankles
Even loosening the laces the boot seemed narrow at the ankle. Zipper is tough for a child to do on own. Had to wd40 them a couple times and still roughHowever, the sole is nice and heavy and the construction is holding up.*this review is written after 8 hard wearing (no rain/no snow).

Excellent shoe
These shoes lasted a year, they were very durable for all the abuse they took and looked good too. They were easy to put on and had good support.
