Light biscuits, light flavor
Thought I would try these as an alternative to the original Mcvites digestive biscuits. Since I enjoy the original biscuits so much, I thought I would try the lighter version, the Rich Tea biscuits, which have fewer calories.Aside from the original biscuits, these arrived with more broken and crumbs. They are also smaller than the digestive biscuits.Though I haven’t had the mcvites Rich Tea biscuits before, I just compared them to the digestive biscuits. I found a few differences like texture and taste. The Rich Tea biscuits are crisper and have a milder flavor. If you find the original biscuits too heavy or sweet, you can try these. I think I’ll give them more of a chance, while still enjoying the original mcvites digestive biscuits.**Although the order page says they are returnable, when you try to return them, you get a message that they are not returnable. You have to contact customer service to receive a refund. So, if you enjoy the original mcvites digestive biscuits, I would say stick with what you know. If you’re looking for something lighter with a milder flavor, try the Rich Tea biscuits!

Poor packaging by Amazon
Very poorly packaged. These are crisp cookies which crumble if banged around! I responded to the seller when asked my opinion, and sent photos and suggestions for improving the packaging. Seller replied that Amazon had fulfilled the order. Neither of the two seemed to take any responsibility. Cookies were, of course delicious, even in small pieces...

Not Quite Like the "Classic" Rich Tea Made by the Same Company
For years, I have looked for English tea biscuits like Peak Freans' "Le Thé riche," which I enjoyed when I was young. Peak Freans closed it's business and the biscuits were not among the cookies taken over by Nabisco. By Googling, I found on Amazon this Mcvites Rich Tea biscuits, also made in England. Unfortunately, these lack the crispness and the faint milk smell of the Peak Freans original and with added fruity flavor and sweetness. Subsequently, I found, also on Amazon, another variety called "Simple Classic Rich Tea." This product is very close to the Peak Freans original. I wish I were reviewing this "Classic" type. I am going to stick to this product.

A Wonderful Accompaniment with Tea or Coffee - and Low Fat and Calories Too!
I love Mcvities Rich Tea Biscuits. They are light, tasty and perfect with tea or coffee. They don't crumble as easily as some other Tea Biscuits I have tried. They take me back to my years living in Great Britian and are a wonderful snack with tea now just as they were then. For those of you unfamiliar with Tea Biscuits, the are a slightly vanilla flavored cookie dense enough for dunking in tea. They are low in fat and calories and a great afternoon snack, with or without the tea. I enjoy them with ice cream too. They have been around quite a long time in Britian, and rightfully so.

Total waste
I have been ordering from Amazon for over 10 years and PRIME member for over 5 years and I have never had a complaint. I just received my package of Mcvities Rich Tea biscuits. Nothing wrong with the taste. They are delicious. But they are all crushed. I have taken all out of one package and only four of them are in one piece. What a waste of money!! And no returns on this item. Total waste of $15.00.

Great treat from home
They are the authentic Rich Tea biscuits. Great with a nice cup of tea. The only thing wrong was they were all cracked. Someone must have dropped them wile packaging as all the biscuits in all three packs were crushed on the edge or cracked. The were still edible but not what I was expecting quality wise.

I am English so I like to "dunk" my Rich Tea
I am English so I like to "dunk" my Rich Tea. For that to happen, you need biscuits that are not broken. Two of the packages of the three packages I received were mostly broken. It was very disappointing to have this happen. Guess I must find another supplier as there is no reason to buy Rich Tea biscuits if they arrive broken.
