Ogrmar Plastic Dustproof IP65 Junction Box DIY Case Enclosure (11"x 7.5"x 5.1")

Nice sturdy box . Used it on the surface grinder in the shop. Mounted right to frame, small enough to not get in the way.

Most project boxes, even ones meant to be weather sealed, tend to be a bit flimsy. Which honestly would have been fine for my purposes, but this was a pleasant surprise -- it is a very heavy duty, large box. There is room on all the edges to drill for cable connections, and it comes with a nice rubber gasket for water, and built in wings to attach with screws that are also nicely heavy (I have numerous project boxes sitting around with mounting wings that break on the first bit of tension -- this won't). Nicely done.

Edit 04.27.2020: Thickness is ~1/8". I mis-calculated it when I originally wrote this review. Now corrected (below).I purchased the 7.8" x 4.7" x 3" box with flanges.I have to say this is a decent project box. It is plastic, and is significantly thicker than the typical project boxes you'll find at stores such as Radio Shack and Fry's. The box feels sturdy, and my impression is indeed it is. I would say the plastic is approximately 1/8" thick. I know because I've cut several holes in this box.One thing worth mentioning in more detail is the lid. First, the weatherstripping must be manually applied, as others have mentioned in their reviews. Second, the lid is taller than I expected. I believe the height varies depending on which size box you order. This box is about 1 inch or so. Perhaps slightly higher (I have it screwed together atm and not near me or I'd measure it). The lid is also the same material thickness.When you put it together, you could probably hit it fairly hard with a hammer and I would expect the box to survive the blow. Now, that's within reason of course, but the point is it is about as sturdy as one could expect for a $15 plastic box.

Good box. Used it as a hub for IP camera connectors outside the house. It's more shallow than options available at my local Home Depot, which was good for my application. Seems sturdy and weatherproof. Please excuse my poor drilling of the clamp holes in the bottom, I did it without measuring + marking first (learn from my mistake)! Deducted one star for lacking any sort of weather sealing like other junction boxes I've purchased - but honestly, probably doesn't matter that much.

I don’t know born can give an honest review of this product bc I didn’t use it for what it was made for. I am using the box to store letter envelopes with import documents in them. It does a great job for what use it for!

I did not end up using this product because it is too big for what I needed but the quality of this product is really good. I can confidently place this outdoor as it has a nice all weather design.

I am happy with the box. Just trying to find the correct size needed
