Dozier Textiles 60'' Ironing Board Fabric, Silver, Fabric By The Yard

I put this on a table I am using for sewing, quilting, and now ironing also. I used 2 layers of cotton batting under it, and it works like a charm. Now I can use fusible batting since I have a larger ironing surface. It’s wider than some fabrics, and I could have gotten away with purchasing only 1 yard, but minimum is 2 yards, but it comes on a tube, so I guess shipping costs the same for 1 or 2 yards. Anyway, I’ve got enough for a re-do in a few years.

I made a large quilted ironing pad for the top of my cutting table. It was easy to work with but I would have preferred it to be heavier. It is so lightweight I feel some concern about long term durability.

This fabric clearly has been folded for too long, along the folds the aluminum coating is thinning. Unfortunately, I had already cut the fabric thinking it just needed ironing. Once I ironed the piece I saw that it was more of an issue than just wrinkles. I covered a sleeve board with the fabric anyway and it worked out but am glad it was not a gift. That being said other than the folding issue the fabric seemed fine and did it's job.

Arrived wrapped on a cardboard tube, so there were no wrinkles. Used to make an ironing station. Worked great.

Was disappointed to find that fabric was extremely wrinkled on one end from the way it was boxed and shipped it had slipped from cardboard roll

Width allows me to cover my large quilt ironing surface. Was shipped in a roll so I did. Or have to iron creases out.
