Home Zone Security Solar Step Lights, 4-Pack

I have gotten countless compliments on these lights above my house numbers! They look great during the day and at night and were VERY easy to hang. I needed the light where I had no electrical hook up. These are perfect! Even after super winds during several tornado seasons, hail, snow… these light have stood up to it all. They did get blown off during a few storms and I just popped them back up and they were good! Great buy for the money.

I purchased these lights to add a bit of light in a dark area and also to add some ambiance. They are cute and modern looking (all plastics ). The only issue I had on installation was drilling through a composite decking wall. I placed two lights at exactly 18 “ from the floor of the deck and this seems to work well for me. Much higher than this and I don’t think there’s enough light to project I don’t think they are bright enough if you wish to use for safety on steps though. They cast a soft light. It’s white but not too bright. For installation I suggest you simply hold the light and mark your spots f for the anchoring screw. If you happen to get that measurement wrong you’ll have to drill another hole because the back slides on at two points left and right. Given how you mount them you’re going to slide them till they catch so make sure you measure carefully or they may not align flat and look too droopy. I have mine positioned in the on position so I cannot comment on motion detection

I purchased about 32 lights to install on my fence. From 32 lights, 2 were defective. Working with the seller was great. They sent me the replacement right away. I don't have a really good picture of my fence but I am very happy with the purchase. On the downside, replacing the battery on this particular lights lights can be a pain in the rear end.

Purchased 15 of these for a recent fence project. 2 simple screws provide mounting to my fence posts. Spaced about 20' apart provides sufficient light along the perimeter of the fence to illuminate the back yard. Purchased 10 more to complete the project. The top of the fixture will start to turn a milky-yellow from the UV rays but does not seem to affect the performance of the solar panels. Its been 2 years since the install here in the Midwest and have not needed to replace the batteries.

Pros: Lights Work and look great. Con: Took out of box and used mounting tape to adhere to fence. One fell off the post and shattered the plastic. Thought they would be more durable. Fell into grass not concrete.

Living in south Florida, I needed weatherproof lights that could be powered by the blazing sun and still withstand the rain, heat and humidity. I bought these Home Zone Security Solar Wall Lights - Outdoor Solar Fence Post and Step Lights due to their competitive price point and elegant design compared to the many cheaper looking black plastic types that are on the market. I mounted them on my wooden fence on the side of my house leading to the backyard. The paper template included to mark where to drill the holes was cheap and barely served its purpose. After mounting two of the lights, I had to mark the holes/distance on a thicker piece of cardboard to complete the job. These lights did look really nice and I was anxious for it to get dark so I could see them lit up. I was immediately disappointed with the low level of illumination. Four feet up on the fence and the light didn't reach the ground. The lights barely worked OK for a couple of weeks before several of them started getting weaker and weaker by the day. Within a month, they were only bright enough to identify where the fence was from five feet away. By the third month, none of them would light up at all but the chrome still looks nice, shiny and decorative during the day. I've since purchased several sets of the black plastic types hoping for better results. This was a waste of money and my time in mounting them. Not recommended.

These lights are awesome! Most of the reviews here are for different lights so they should fix this. There is so much dishonesty on these reviews now which make me hesitant to buy sometimes. They could be using these old reviews for another product to make their product appear more favorable. Well, with regards to this product with the nice sleek look to the front wrap like a brushed polished nickel and solar panel top, this was a cinch product. The instructions were easy to follow, they came durably packaged, and they look aesthetically pleasing. The color of the light wasn't an annoying bright white and rather a warm yellow which I like. All of the lights around my home are warm white so they match up well.

These are not too bright, they just give a soft glow. We've installed about 10 on our back yard fence. They last all evening, and were easy to install. A great value. Update: over time the plastic over the solar sensor discolors, reducing how much energy they absorb, and so they don’t stay on as long.

These lights are such good quality, work perfectly, have had them up for months & very classy looking- - very very happy !

Las baterías solo duran unas 4 horas

Very nice look but not very shining.

La luz que destella es muy pobre, así mismo, en ocasiones algunas no prenden por si solas, tengo que darle un golpecito en la parte superior para que se activen....

I would not buy this product again, it's not worth the cost of the item. Very cheaply made. Very small, and very cheap looking! Looks like it should only cost around 10.00 dollars...... there is a lot better light out there for a lot less money.
