Great Floss
I've been using POH floss for about 35 years, since my dentist in Atlanta recommended it to me. I have no idea if he did so because he had scientifically studied the efficacy of different kinds of floss, or if he just had some free samples from the POH salesman. In any case I liked it, and was able to buy it locally at smaller pharmacies. It's not available anywhere hereabouts (in the Detroit metropolitan area in Michigan), so whenever I run out of POH I look for it on the internet. The best price this time was from this supplier on Amazon, so I bought it. The package came promptly, and the contents were the same old floss that I've been using for decades. This floss is not waxed, and rarely frays (it does fray now and then). It gives my teeth a very clean feeling. I floss once a day, before I go to bed. If I forget to floss I can't sleep - I have to get back up and do it!

Very good floss
This is excellent floss. It frays very little and I love that there is no wax

It’s thin and fits between teeth.
My favorite floss

"about the cleanest teeth I've ever seen"
A dental hygienist taught me to use this. I brush my teeth in the morning (with an Oral-B electric toothbrush). At night, I brush again, then floss. Then brush again. Over the last 5 years, three different hygienists (I've moved around) have each told me that I have some of the cleanest teeth they've ever seen. Plus easy checkups. It's simple, easy, and fast. I go between the teeth, button-hook at the gumline, then up and down on the edges (and through) until it's squeaky, then next gap. I wish I'd learned this years sooner.

Good floss; no real shredding issues
I was a bit hesitant to try this floss, given some reviewers complaining about it tearing while in use. But the unwaxed floss I had been buying wasn't available in bulk anymore, so I went ahead and bought the dozen rolls of POH. I've been using it a few weeks now. It is thinner than the old floss, but I haven't really had any issues with it shredding/tearing. I have fairly tightly spaced teeth, so I would think that if it were a serious problem that I would have experienced some of the shredding. I actually like the feel of the floss on the teeth. My only minor complaint about the floss is in starting a new piece from the container. After tearing off the previous piece (using the cutter notch on top, which took a day or two of getting the hang of), the external segment of floss extends very closely along the side of the container. It isn't very easy to pull that segment off the side of the container to start the new piece. Maybe if I had long fingernails it would be easier.

Very very thin, but not as much scraping 'edge' as I prefer
Pros: > Thinner than all others I've tried - it's possible to easily get it in and out of my tightest spaces (a few of my teeth spaces are so tight that with any other brand I can get the floss directly in, but then have to pull it out the side to avoid yanking a filling out if I try to pull it up the way it went in). So it's a surprise to be able to bring this thinner floss up and out of my tightest spaces without that worry. > Small container - it's about 1/2 the size of my customary Johnson and Johnson Reach, but contains twice the length (Reach is 55 yards, POH is 100 yards) > The 'closed' design keeps it cleaner and drier than my Reach box-lid style container (I never close the Reach lid so water spray gets into the larger container holes into the floss) Cons: > Slightly difficult to grasp the thread to get it started each time- it's a fairly taught short little piece of floss laying flush up against the side of the container where it comes out and runs up to the cutting edge - it's hard to get my finger nail to get under and loosen it so I can start a new piece. I mean it's not impossible, but it's just a little bit harder than the Johnson and Johnson Reach that I've used for years > It seems like the floss is made up of like 50 silk-thin filaments and if I'm not vigilant about continually winding the floss on my fingers to move to a new section (i,e. if I re-use a section between several teeth) it does weaken enough that it will fray as it passes between my sharp tight spaces, and then a 1-2 inch silk-thin filament will get stuck and left behind wedged between some of my tighter teeth - which is hard to get a hold on to pull out - sometimes I have to get a tweezers to get the slippery thin filament to pull it out (some of my teeth are extremely tight). While "Reach" also frays and such, it doesn't leave such thin hard to grasp strands between my tighter teeth. I don't really like having to continually wind more and more of the POH floss around my finger as I move through the length because by the end the 'receiving' finger has so much floss tightly wound around it my poor finger feels like it's about to explode. > Because it is so fine and smooth and I'd almost even say slick (even though it's not waxed), I don't feel it has quite as much of a 'scraping' edge as Reach to scrape the plaque off each tooth -- I find I have to go up and down between each tooth 4-5 times until it doesn't feel slippery, and use a bit more pressure, as compared with using Reach un-waxed which has more of a harder rougher feeling edge and only takes 1-2 passes to feel the tooth has the plaque cleaned off. It goes without saying this is also the reason I would never use any waxed flosses or those ultra slick dental tapes like "Glide".

Thinner Floss - Works Grea t
I prefer unwaxed floss. Others that I have tried were thicker and hard to fit through between my teeth. I was afraid they would pull one of my caps off. This floss is thinner and works well.

Not as strong as I had hoped
I was under the impression that since this was touted as professional/commercial floss that it would be extra strong. That is not the case. I usually end up cutting/breaking the floss several times per flossing session. It is super thin, which makes it easy to use for people like me who have very closely spaced teeth, plus it is unwaxed, so it cleans better than waxed floss. The price is very reasonable for the quantity, so the waste that results from breaks and cuts is offset to some degree. If this floss could be roughly doubled in tensile strength without adding to its diameter (or price), it would be absolutely 5-Star perfect. As it is, it is merely adequate. I would neither encourage nor discourage anyone from buying this product, but you should know up front that it is not a particularly strong dental floss. However, if you have closely spaced teeth, this is a superior alternative to waxed floss because it will do a much better job of cleaning between your teeth and below the gum line.

I like the quality of this dental floss. Unfortunately it’s a little bit expensive, but there is not much choice when it comes to unwaxed dental floss.

This is a nice thin, tough Unwaxed floss. Great for moving off biofilm. I love it but it might not be the best for those with tight contacts or raggy-edged restorations. Hope the supply does not run out.

Nice Floss😊

The floss is great, but the built in cutter in the cap works poorly. It doesn't cut the floss very well.
