love this Cookie Press
I wasn't sure what to expect. I needed a cookie press at the last minute and found I could get this one quickly. I had a very old Mirro one that broke and was looking for something like that to replace it. It arrived today and at first the tube seemed small and like it wouldn't hold much dough. I filled it up and set to to work. I was amazed at how well it worked! I was used to twisting and turning the old aluminum one I had and having a difficult time getting the dough to come out. This one was effortless. A simple pull on the trigger and the right amount of dough was dispensed. I made 2 trays of cookies in no time. Refilling was a snap. Cleaning it was easy as well. It all comes apart so all crevices are easy to clean. Very happy with how well this worked! Highly recommend this as it is a cost savings over other brands and works flawlessy.

Terrible seal
Using to fill my dogs Kong with peanut butter. I was expecting the seal to be alot better than it is. There is no tightness at all. The action of the trigger isn't very good either. I was expecting like a caulk gun where you can control between steps. This is really hard to do a "half click". At least it was cheap, though I'd rather pay double for something that worked better...

Larger size
I thought cookie press was larger than it was. It was a little hard to take apart. If you don't need a larger opening you will be ok. I use mine for body butter not a good ideal.

Good Replacement for Grandma's cookie press
I've been using my grandmother's 1940's style metal press until it's notches bent rendering it unusable. Small grieving process led me to Amazon and this press. I am please, especially with it's metering capability and the trigger action not present in the oldie but goodie. Still takes a learning curve to get the feel of it so the cookies come out right.I like the frosting attachments. Used one of them to make wreaths as I did with my old one. Once I got the 'feel' of this press, it worked great.Cleaning similar to old press. Given hot enough water to melt the buttery film, not too bad a clean. Hoping it will hold up--time will tell. Plastic tends to not be an intergenerational material for something with moving parts.

Not what I expected
I did not like this press. No directions enclosed, took awhile for dough to finally not stick to the plastic.top part was stuck and almost cracked because of force needed to disconnect to clean. Will not recommend
