The sketches actually work!!!
I Very rarely leave reviews.... but this book has been very helpful. I would say I am have intermediate knowledge of arduino programming, but I found this book very easy to follow along. It wasn't so difficult that I couldn't follow, nor so simple I felt I was being talked down too. I have a project that I wanted to do and this book had all the knowledge I needed to adapt some of the author's projects to my own - and they worked! What's also great is he provided libraries that actually worked with the sketches. All of them worked first time without problems. So if you're looking at trying to transmit data this book is well worth the price.

Decent intro, but short.
Does have all the code available, so no retyping.Goes quick to the point. Doesn’t cover any “uses” of the data. Would be handy if it came with some sort of program that ran on a raspberry pi to start the processing from the receiver. It’s a useful start in any case.

Good for monitoring, but
This book was very informative. I did get a lot out of it, but not really what I was looking for. (My mistake). I'm very interested in the nrf24l01. I'm more interested in bi-direction communication and triggering of relays and LED lighting control. This book seems to be more about setting up a single pipe line with success and monitoring of Devices(sometimes being repetitive) Great!, If that's what your looking for. Overall good read

Good value
I bought this for my 14 year old son and we both found it to be an excellent value. There are others that are also good (and some much better for a broader understanding), but this is written from a practical standpoint and is written by someone with real experience. I enjoyed his writing style as well. Shouldn't be your only book on the subject, but well worth the price.

i'm very happy to have found this little book by searching on ...
Well i just receive it 2 days ago (4 april) - and had overvieuw it on Kindle before order the paper version, the code is clearly written, seems on overvieuw well logic. Of course i will apply some of this general code to my specific application and most probably make somme modification, but so far, i think this book written by David Leithauser is a real practical reference for remote sensoring monitoring with radio transmition. i'm very happy to have found this little book by searching on the little Kindle that i got last week. Many thanks and best regards....

Good reference for the rf24
This is a good reference for the rf24. Overall pretty good info concerning sensors. Unfortunately I obtained this book after finishing my development using the devices in this book. So I would recommend this book to anyone starting out.

Good reference
Recommended reading for beginner and moderately experienced with Arduino. Code is clearly written and easy to follow. Excellent list of gas and flammable sensors with pros and cons on each.

Limited but useful....
Limited to specific sensors but it gives you the concepts and you can investigate the rest on your own.

Right down to the matter
Very concise and precise reading on wireless and sensor interfacing with Arduino. I liked the author's no-frills approach to the subject.

BaV -- ABM.
