JETech Case for iPhone 4s and iPhone 4, Black

This iPhone 4s case by JETech is excellent. Professional, slim, leather look and feel. Along with the JETech screen protector this combo made my 7 month old phone, with small scratches in the original glass look brand new again.The hard buttons on the case to activate the on/off and volume buttons on the phone work perfectly. It does make the vibrate button a little more difficult to operate and I can no longer flip it while it is in my pocket, I need to pull it out of my pocket and get a finger nail into the opening of the case to flip the vibrate switch.One significant problem though is that aftermarket chargers are a little too big to fit into the charging port. The original Apple charger fits just fine, but even the close look a-likes are a fraction of an inch too large and I end up having to remove the phone from the case in order to charge it on my car charger. But that was not enough for me to remove a star because this thing is just too slim and good looking to worry about that small hassle. I cannot speak yet as to how long the case will retain its good looks, but if even only for a year it will be worth it.One noteworthy benefit of the new screen protector... my iphone screen was about 7 months old without a screen protector... so there were small scuffs and scratches. With the exception of 1 small scratch, the others were made invisible by the new protector and the phone looks new again. The sensitivity of the screen protector is excellent and everything works as if there were no protector at all.

3 Month Update: this phone case has some sort of super strength voodoo. I placed my phone on the trunk of my car while buckling my son in his car seat, then drove off forgetting it (hey, I'm a busy mom, and a bit forgetful ha!). The leathery part of the phone must have held onto my car, because it didn't fall off for over a mile! The person who found my phone, found it after he had ran it over with his motorcycle on a busy 50 MPH street. It had probably been ran over several times, and only had the tiniest crack near the 'home button' (iPhone). Unbelieve lol.This case is fantastic. I'm a notorious 'phone dropper', so a good case is crucial!I've been buying the 'incase' slider cases for ages...they protect in fall, but they crack SO easily. This case has a nice thick plastic, a 'leather-ish' feeling part, and its not heavy. It also raises the edges on the front of the screen, so if you place your phone screen side down on a table, the case will touch the table, not your screen....so it doubles as a screen protector.Some people are having problems with the buttons. There isn't merely a 'gap' in the plastic where the volume buttons are on the iphone...they are real covered buttons that depress on top of the iphone buttons when pressed. It has worked perfectly for my iPhone 4s. Also, you CAN use aftermarket charging cables with this case...the charge port gap is big enough!!!

Update 6/20/2015;I have dropped my iPhone 4s face down on concrete, cement, stone, tile and every surface you expect to crack the screen...and I have no scratches and no screen breaks! I am grateful for this case. All buttons may start a little stiff, but get much better/softer with use. I will be sad if I cannot have a case as good as this when I upgrade my phone.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW:Great fit. Good solid comfortable feel. No finger prints and no mess. Does not interfere in any way with use. All openings align perfectly and allow screen sound, image, power, flash, camera, headphone and speakers to work as it did without the case. The on/off button on top is stiff to start. On my iPhone 4s without the case, the button required a specific pressure. WIth the new case it now requires a bit more pressure. The volume buttons work perfectly and again require a slight bit more pressure.Love it and with the addition of a screen protector, I feel my iPhone has great protection from basic use and abuse.

My mom, my sister, and I all have had iPhone 4's and both my mom and I still have our iPhone 4's. We are happy with them and plan to keep them for awhile longer yet neither of us have ever used any type of protective case or cover before.I decided to order three different covers on the same order. One was for me and the other two were for my mom. I didn't know if she would want black or blue (her favorite color) so since the price was so reasonable, I bought both!When three covers arrived, this one stood out as the highest quality by far. It's rigid but not so rigid it would crack easily if dropped plus it's thicker and has a leather type feel to it.I actually like the looks and design of the other better (same case, two different colors) as it has some chrome accents but one of those arrived cracked and all three came in the same box.This case fits perfectly. Not too tight and not too loose. The camera isn't covered up like it was on another cover I had used for a different phone before and I also like the contours and edges on this case.Overall, I'm actually shocked at the quality to price ratio of this case and highly recommend it.

The case is functional and stylish. Maybe just a tad more slippery than the old one I had, but no worries there, really, and overall its quality is better. I was worried about replacing the case I'd been using with this new one, because the openings in the older, worn out case had been larger and allowed easy access to all of the buttons--none of them required pushing "through" the membrane of the case itself. However, the buttons are easily pushed once the case gets broken in a bit, and so even more dust or liquid is kept away from the phone. A good value.
