Rothco M-65 Field Jacket Liner - Stand Alone or Great For Layering

It’s ridiculous how often I wear this jacket. It’s the perfect weight, I can wear something warmer under it, it’s cool looking, easy to clean. I wear it all the time.

Yes irlt fit well into my field jacked and all the buttons lined up perfectly. Just like the one I was issued way back when in the Air Force.

My military husband was told to get a size bigger than he actually wears (by his master Sargent) and it was so perfect. It doesn't come with buttons so I sewed some in near the pre sewed button opening. I am thrilled with its quilted fabrication, it had held well and has not worn at all through all the winter months we passed through here in north east Idaho. So! With negative temperatures my husband was warm and able to do what he needed to. (P.s. I want one for myself. They are deceptively incredible).

I bought this thinking that it would be the same quality as an actual military surplus field jacket liner. But I was mistaken. There are little things here and there on the jacket that I do not like but with all of that aside it does its job great. It buttoned perfectly into my M65 field jacket. It’s super comfy and definitely adds warmth. When I bought the field jacket it was missing the liner and I’ve been searching surplus stores for a replacement with no success. So I finally bought this one. I will update my review when I test it in extreme cold weather. And it looks great in my jacket. I ordered a large and I would say that it’s true to size.

Got this as a gift for ma-inlaw. She had worn out a couple of these from back in my army days. She loved it,everyone is 😊

Got a medium and it was ginormous! So then I got a small. The arms are short but the jacket itself is WIDE!!! Like I can wrap it around myself like a robe. Still debating if I’ll return these or just alter them myself….

Saved my life multiple times, and almost cost me my life. Make sure to remove before foot march. But it will keep you warm.

Wear a large in everything. Sometimes opt for XL. Tried wearing this under my OCPs and it just is not going to work out. Seen some other people with an original jacket liner with the buttons and armpit holes, wish I had opted for a used ebay of that instead. The Rothco jacket liner is big pass if you are looking for one to go under size Large regular OCP tops.

Very noisy material, hope it softens up with wear. A bit tight around armpit.

昔○○○オンで何も知らず入手したアルファM-65、すぐ内側のいくつかあるボタンでライナーがあると気づき、本物にこだわって放出品狙ってましたが価格が割と高くて見送っていました。今回この価格帯でROTHCOということもあり決めました。取り付けボタンの位置が袖に２つ、前が３つのうち上から２つ目と３つ目の間隔が広い事を確認して購入。 縫い取りのパターンも揃い、糸のほつれも無くボタン位置もOK.。第一印象は意外と薄くて、音がパリパリする？（ポリエステル１００）。でも装着して着てみると、まもなく熱がこもってくる感じが判ります。朝通勤時冷え切った車に乗る時、下はニットの長Tだけでも寒くなかった。これから一番寒くなるので、さらに違いが判るかな。確かに重いけど、そこは実戦装備の気分でいいのでは。
