previously I had purchased another publication of the same book but that was too hard to understand, go with this translation guys.

It is the best translation of this extraordinary masterpiece ------ a ground - breaking classic indeed .

May be not for pshycology but very useful for literature

Freud is no longer a scientist that he labels himself as, yet we read his works as those belonging to a library of classics. Why? While the research that Freud presented in this book don't follow vigorous scientific assessment, the ideas therein are still widespread in the post-modern school of literature and thought. The human subconscious is dissected: by reading The Interpretation of Dreams, we get an vague idea of the functions and possibilities of one's sleeping life, when repressed and forgotten thoughts emerge.

I now understand the entire universe and know exactly what everyone is thinking at all times.

I was actually looking for a work on dreams that spent more time interpretating dreams of archetypes. Carl Jung does it better, but Freud is one with whom a serious student cannot go wrong. This book is well-worth reading.

The content and the translation are excellent. However, this physical edition isn’t my favorite. The pages are very thin and slightly beige, with tiny font and very tight spacing.. I would personally prefer a slightly larger and more comfortable layout. But again, the text itself is great

This is indispensable for any student of Freud or psychoanalysis. It reads almost like an autobiography of Freud. A note of caution, it may be hard to get the dream interpretation material without the assistance of an instructor.
