I can't think why I never bought one before. Having thoroughly read reviews of various brands of zesters I decided on this one, and am so glad I did. It is extremely sharp and you only need to do one fairly gentle swipe before turning the lemon a little. I got so much zest from one lemon I put half into a tiny pot in the fridge to use the next day. Previously I have used a fine grater, but most of the zest stuck to the grater and I only got a tiny amount to use. This one helped me make a delicious creamed cabbage (Finely shredded sweetheart cabbage, fried in a little butter, then add a little double cream and lemon zest, cook for about 5 minutes and season to taste - all ready in about 10 minutes). Next day made a very quick chicken and rice dish (including half a red onion) and the rest of the lemon zest and a splash of Clearsprings tamari.
