About durability of the product, the internal spring is still working well even after at least 200 uses. I even keep the screen hanging for weeks at a time and so far no issues. We also moved to a different place and I don't see any issue even after the move. As you can see - even with the sun setting behind me, there was PLENTY of contrast and overall picture quality got a lot of "wows" from the neighbors. Two of their kids grabbed chairs and just posted up for the duration. I'd say that's an instant-win. The screen initially didn't retract all the way and was veeery slow to go back up. I contacted Elite Screens customer service and they sent me the instructions to add tension back into the rod. Took me 5 minutes with an extra set of hands from my wonderful wife. Tossed it back up and *boom*, worked like a charm. Retracts fully unassisted at a reasonable pace and locks in place. I was able to pull it down and have it "lock in" at plenty of intervals (maybe around an inch per "step"?), so I wasn't sure what the other reviewers were having trouble with...mine dialed in nicely. I'd say it's a genuine win. Good customer service (they got back to me in less than a day) and good quality screen for the money.
