Review: and this is perfect to protect one person from mosquitoes - It is not very big, and there is no floor in it. I probably wouldn't take it camping--no way to use it with my hammock. It might work inside a tent, but my tent has a mosquito net. I spend some time in third world countries, though, and this is perfect to protect one person from mosquitoes, provided you can find a place to hang it. Review: Confused Mosquitos - As a mosquito net, it works. The little bugs were all confused all night trying to find an opening. The only problem is that the hanger is off-center. The tents my son's scout troops use have a hanger that is centered so it didn't fit that well. I should have looked at the tent first, but it was a boy scout camping for the week and they use the troop's tents instead of bringing their own. But no mosquito bites to report. ## Features - Lightweight and compact, provides instant protection from mosquitoes and other flying insects ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001E1JKFU | | Best Sellers Rank | #28,239 in Baby ( See Top 100 in Baby ) #74 in Baby & Toddler Bed Mosquito Protection | | Brand | Stansport | | Brand Name | Stansport | | Color | Green | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 324 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00011319594654 | | Item Type Name | Net | | Item Weight | 6.4 ounces | | Manufacturer | Stansport | | Manufacturer Part Number | 705 | | Material | Polyethylene (PE) | | Material Type | Polyethylene (PE) | | Model Number | 705 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Shape | Round | | UPC | 782386024909 011319594654 780320022271 885476058508 611102071678 675903971797 696582412395 012301089967 617407297959 728131137418 014444612521 735479124369 041114767984 523428100195 885350901098 745734303422 731215319082 052778924897 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Stansport - **Material:** Polyethylene (PE) - **Color:** Green - **Shape:** Round - **Manufacturer:** Stansport ## Images ![Buy Now - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Hd-j06+vL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and this is perfect to protect one person from mosquitoes *by O***0 on May 16, 2016* It is not very big, and there is no floor in it. I probably wouldn't take it camping--no way to use it with my hammock. It might work inside a tent, but my tent has a mosquito net. I spend some time in third world countries, though, and this is perfect to protect one person from mosquitoes, provided you can find a place to hang it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Confused Mosquitos *by R***P on March 1, 2017* As a mosquito net, it works. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Key is how you set it up! *by J***E on August 20, 2012* I found the netting to be both light and sturdy, and even the small mosquitoes had no chance of getting in. (I saw them trying.) The netting didn't tear on the couple of occasions I caught something on it. Which gets to "Key is how you set it up." I purposefully bought a double-size thinking it would give me more room, but I was in a relatively low shelter and the single suspension point of the netting made this rather claustrophobic. I had to spend some periods of time during the day under it. And if one happens to catch a button on it or lean against taut netting when shifting around, it will very easily untuck from between a plastic ground tarp and plastic mattress -- and then get all twisted up. I tried taping and clothespinning up some additional contact points with with shelter, to "build it out" -- this might work with the right tape, but not for me. And clothes pins didn't hold, either. I give it 4 stars because it seems well constructed, and my problems could have been due to my being an inexperienced camper, but can't give a 5 because there were some very frustrating moments! I think the more "boxy" design with multiple ties might be better if you can set up shelter with two overhead cords or other ways to get that set up! ## Frequently Bought Together - Stansport Mosquito Netting Small (705) - Sawyer Products Premium Permethrin Insect Repellent for Clothing, Gear & Tents - Coghlan's 9640 32x78 Mosquito Bed Net, Multicolor, single wide / 180-mesh --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/1153137-buy-now](https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/1153137-buy-now) --- *Product available on Desertcart Oman* *Store origin: OM* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
