Here it says 2015 but in bell web page says 2020** A: SNELL M2015 is a safety rating for race helmets. The #s don't specify the year just the certification level. All these helmets are 2019 make or 2020. You are getting what is advertised. **Q: Does the face shield include a pinlock shield or just the principal shield?** A: No it does not. It comes with the Bell ProTint Photochromic Shield instead. I have road almost 600 miles with this Helmet in just 4 months and had no fogging with it at all. It has really good air flow with all the vents open and if you want more air, there is a piece you can remove from the inside by the mouth piece that will Allow even more if desired. I also don’t ride in the rain unless I just get caught in it. It’s a beautiful helmet, very lightweight and I loved the fact that the shield lightens and darkens with the sunlight. I also ride with the shield in the lowest position and only snap the shield down when doing over 65 mph or if I do get caught in rain and still no fogging. They have other shields you can buy that have the pin lock but the darkening of the shield was more important to me plus I heard it did a really good job with not fogging. The helmet also gets a lot of compliments because of how it looks. Hope this helps. **Q: Does it have a built-in sun googles / pull-down sun visor?** A: The visor gets dark in the sun an not in the dark ...works great ...big fan! **Q: How dark does the visor get - is it just a light shade?** A: A light shade. It works like progressive lenses. Tent adjusts to the brightness of the sun. Clear at night. I really like the helmet. The visor has to be all the way up or down, no in-between. The fit is snug as per previous posts...so you may want to go up a size. I wear a Med Shark Race-R Pro comfortably, but with this helmet I had to order a LG. The LG fits great, and even feels good after installing my Cardo Pack JBL speakers. It may be a bit nosier than my Shark helmet, but not by much. It seems to cool well, as I wore it yesterday while riding in upper 80's lower 90's temps, without getting overly hot (riding a 2016 Honda CBR1000RR SP). The helmet does not buffet or move around on your head at speed, and does a good job of staying in place. I do like the MIPS technology that Bell puts into their helmets. If you don't know what that is...watch a couple of You Tube videos or reviews on RevZilla, and you'll understand. The photochromatic shield changes quickly from completely clear, to a decently dark rose colored tint. I wish it got a little darker...but it definitely works well enough.
