I've used Sta-Bil more than 15 years after first use from a container of it, and it still worked great. It has a very long shelf life after opening. The plastic container that the Sta-Bil comes in probably has a shorter life than the contents. I have never used Sta-Bil Marine, so I can't comment on it. **Q: Can this be used in Outboard Marine engines?** A: The label says it can be used in all engines. I don't have an outboard engine, but I use it in cars, pickup trucks, ATV, lawn mower(walking & riding), tractor & auger. **Q: Can I buy stabil for the stablil? Where does this end?** A: sure. **Q: Can this be used on old gasoline** A: I suggest contacting customer support at Gold Eagle for the correct answer. It's my understanding that Sta-Bil is for adding to fresh gasoline.
