I have been running these for months now and I have not gotten a pop tire, even though I've ran over most likely a whole lot of glass. These are not a want. These are a requirement. If you need a bike and have a bike and if you need to change your tires I suggest you put these onI'm not even a joke on this as well. Out in the High Deserts of Southern California, small thorns called Goatheads are everywhere and a menace for road bikes. I was averaging one flat tire every alternate ride before I got absolutely frustrated and started looking for solutions. Since I ordered these tire liners, I have managed 500 miles before getting my first flat. So, all-in-all, a great purchase.Installing these tire liners is not too bad and can be done for both wheels in about 30 minutes. They work fine in most instances and significantly reduce flats. However, they are not magic barriers and do not eliminate flats completely. A big nail or a thorn will go through. Still, based on the number of flats I'd get before and the associated cost of replacement tubes, these have paid for themselves in the last two months.
