This one is several inches larger and has more speed variations. None of the other Vfans are plastic. I’ve had 3 other plastic vornado fans. These are much more elegant & add to the decor rather than being an eyesore. Additionally, this fan has the dial on the base rather than at the back, which is more convenient. The larger the fan, the more speed variations the more you’ll spend. I contacted customer service on Thursday and explained the issue. This is a known problem. Customer service took my information and shipped out a replacement immediately.
