If your dog pulls hard you'll still need a lot of strength to hold back but eventually works better then other products. I've been using this harnesses more then year now and is one of my most favourite and still like in new condition. The hand strap on the back of Halti is not very long ,so if you are tall you may find your bending over to hold it especially if you do want to give your dog some slack. **Q: Cant read size guide it’s so small Will a small fit a shitzu she’s 7.5 kg** A: My dog weighs 15kg and it fits her, but I would suggest a smaller size, as it is bigger than it looks. **Q: My french bulldogs chest size is 24” but the large is to big. His old harness (a generic one over the head and chest) had him sounding like he was smoking 20 benson a day. So training him wasn't the easiest. This harness doesn't stop pulling (nothing will really do that aside from training I imagine), but it does reduce the strain on him when he is pulling. I can't quite figure out how the second chest clip works, as he keeps getting his front leg caught with it. But that might just be user error as I'm terrible with straps. Feels sturdy and comfortable in my hands.
