Review: Great for my well pump - This works awesome for my low yield well. I set it to come on for a minute every 5 hours. It pumps the water into a 200 gallon holding tank. When the tank fills up the float valves closes off, and then the water fills a small pressure tank, when that fills the pressure switch switches the pump off. So then the pump will not come on anymore even if this unit comes on until the pressure is released after I use a bunch of water. From the holding tank I have a jet pump that is connected to another pressure tank and switch and that goes to the house. The first pressure tank before the holding tank must be set low around 25 PSI though, that allows water to flow in sooner so the pump doesn't build pressure too fast and click on and off like a hundred times a second. It needs decent buffer zone from the 40/60 pressure switch. This works way better than the typical designs how they normally do this. I'm very happy with it and the whole thing is working fantastic. And my pump will never burn out, even if something else goes wrong, at worst the pump only runs for a minute at a time. I actually blew out a PVC connection and water leaked all over, but no problem as my pump didn't drain the well or burn out. This unit only allowed it to run for a minute at a time. Before I got this unit I burned out a pump before, I said there has got to a be a better way, and I didn't like the way they usually do it with control pumps. Those have their own issues I don't want to get into here. This thing is awesome and works fantastic the way I have it set up now. And I can adjust the timings any way I like. Also I love that you can switch it on to bypass the timer if you want to check things or run it right there and then. It also has a nice toggle switch to turn it off so you don't have to switch off the breaker if you need to turn it off. I wish the battery was replaceable though. Usually those last 10 years or so. I guess in 10 years I'll have to buy a new unit? Still worth it though.
Review: Saves a TON of money one electric bill! - I installed this 18-months ago in my home, to control the water heater. I placed both sets of contacts in PARALLEL to ensure it would handle the current. That house was in Yuma AZ, so most of the year the "cold water" coming into the house is already hot! So we only needed the hot water heater in the "winter months" when it got "chilly" (70's/80's days, 40's/50's at night). In those circumstances we had the timer apply power 1.5 hours in the AM and then again 1.5 hours in the PM - like that we had hot water any time of day or night but instead of paying for electric power 24hrs a day, we only paid for 3-hours a day. YOU WILL SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE FIRST ELECTRIC BILL!! I moved and sold the house after 18-months, the timer still working and looking like new. Bought another timer for my new house - have not installed it yet because where we live now is REAL winter with teens, twenties, thirties, snow, icy windshield in the morning et all. So I'm in no hurry to install the timer, I'll wait until closer to summer when I can actually use the timer again. It has a VERY GOOD FEATURE: a manual 3-way switch with positions labelled "ON" "OFF" and "TIMER". So for example, it's just me and the wife, we are retired. One weekend family comes to visit and both spare bedrooms plus the RV are full of visitors, and LOTS of showers shall be required: You DON"T HAVE TO RE-PROGRAM the timer to run more hours - just switch it to "ON" full-time until the visitors leave, then switch it back to timer. Similarly say you go on vacation for a month, just set the switch to "OFF" until you come back home - you don't have to go find the circuit breaker in the main electric panel to turn it off. Yup, this thing is great. REAL, sturdy METAL box it comes in. Just "hop off the fence" and get one.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good build and great features for the price!
*by A***R on April 24, 2021*

I bought this unit to replace my old mechanical timer. Very versatile timing features, all you would ever need. Indicator lights are nice when electrical loads are applied. Box has a nice gasket going around the edge so it really is waterproof. When viewing the timer/digital clock, you need to look at it straight on. If you view it from a downward angle, it erroneously looks like there are all "8's" on the screen. A backlit screen would have been nice for easier viewing. Lastly the universal voltage is nice. The unit runs on 120 or 240 input voltage, and can operate a number or various voltage items. There is a sentence in the paper instructions that might lead you to believe the unit requires only 120v input, but the wiring diagram provided as well as a perfect youtube instructional video from Jasco make wiring and installation a breeze, even if you've never done electrical before. Lastly, the wire terminal retainers could be better. Ensure you unscrew the terminals (to retract the slider-retaining clips), and look up from the bottom of the unit to ensure your wire ends actually went inside the slider-retaining clip. Overall, very satisfied with the unit.
