This dress is heavy, actual weight of the dress, and it isn’t a summer dress. It is conservative and sexy, which is not always an easy combination to find. Form fitting, but still forgiving of some imperfections that come with age. I’m in my 50’s and currently have a curvy figure-not overly fat, but definitely not skinny. I wore it to a work gala held at a museum, and it was perfect for the event. The beading makes the dress look more expensive than it is. It is age appropriate without being frumpy.

This dress fits very well and has a lot of give and thus is quite forgiving. It is heavy as other reviewers stated but not so much I wouldn’t wear it. As my daughter stated I look elegantly middle aged (i am 50). The back adds a little sexy to the look. I bought a size S and am 5’6” and 125lbs. It does fall well below the knee.

Ok...I got this dress on a whim through the "try before you buy" program. It seemed a little too fancy for the event I was going to, but I wanted something that made me feel beautiful.This dress was everything. A little bit sexy, a little bit extra, and absolutely stunning. As a plus size woman, I am always a little leery of body con dresses, but the lining provided great support and the shape of the dress was just lovely. It's worth it. Every penny. I got a ton of compliments and felt like a million bucks all night.Dress the People has a new fan.

Fits tight and the beading makes it super heavy and a little itchy. Can't see myself wearing this to a party, too uncomfortable. Returned.

This dress looks cheaply made. Nothing like the picture. Awful.

So comfortable. Heavy weight, thick soft lining extremely well made. I’m 5’4” 160 pounds. The large was too big in the shoulders. Returned it ( try before you buy) Medium was perfect! Very stretchy. I may have been able to wear a small. Classy and the black color is beautiful with the nude lining. Gives appearance of skin through the beading.it’s thick fabric but I wasn’t hot in it inside at the gala this November. Extremely comfortable I’m beyond happy with this purchase!

This dress was more than I expected. One of the most beautiful dresses I have ever purchased. It should have fit perfectly however I have put weight on and will have to loose a few pounds before I wear it out. But, this dress will easily make me loose the weight. So well made and it was mailed in a box! Love it!!
