I use the chaoq felt mesh tip ones.** A: They hold BIC size pens. Stylus would be too thin. **Q: Do they hold thicker pens like ink joys ?** A: Yes, they do hold thicker pens. I use one to hold a sharpie marker and it works great. I purchased these for the nice quantity included so I wouldn't likely run out. These loops adhere nicely to my laminated notebook dashboards. I don't see them coming off easily. They hold the pens very well. However, having used a couple for over a week, I have noticed a sticky adhesive residue on my pens when I pull them out. It doesn't ruin the pen, but I have to take a few moments wiping them off every time and I find that really annoying. If I leave it, it collects dirt and looks soiled. I tried looking through the pack and it looks like this adhesive is present in all of them.
