There is me my Great Dane and a Goldendoodle sleeping on it for a total of about 425 lbs a night. It doesn’t compress, slide, or move. The mattress doesn’t slide on it. It is the best solution I have ever had. **Q: Maxium weight. My boyfriend is a big guy. Will it hold up under large/tall?** A: Not sure there is a max weight for this item but I a m over 300lbs and it seems to be holding up fine. I've had mine for over a year at least. **Q: Do you carry a California King size base?** A: They now the California King sized. But good luck trying to find the matching covers. I bought the California King elevator but cannot find covers for them- not even from other brands **Q: I do not have a box spring in my bed.
