It is a UV protection you wear it with your make up. You still do everything normal you still use your moisturizer you apply your UV and then you apply your foundation, I’ve been using this for over 30 years my skin still looks good because I’m using the protection. You can use it by itself if you’re going to the beach and you don’t wanna wear any heavy make up just wear that that will still give you your protection. It’s a great product I started using it probably when I was in my early twenties. **Q: will this help prevent tanning?** A: Really good not oily **Q: How much titanium dioxide is there in this? how much zinc is there in this ?** A: Titanium dioxide: 3.2%. Zinc oxide 3.6%. This product is a lot thicker than the City Block spf 40 in the mint green tube and does not go as smoothly. **Q: Take out the chemical octinoxate please? Why do you think zinc oxide snd titanium dioxide isn’t enough? Octinoxate can irritate if it gets near eyes.** A: Wow I wondered why one of my eyes was irritated and red.
