I like the way the problems are carved and tackled one by one . In the digital era and nuclear family planning the things are getting worst and marriage is not sacred as it was earlier but it's more of profit and loss making business. I would as an advocate of criminal and family law would strongly suggest to take pre nuptials agreement signed by husband and wife before or after marriage at any time. It would definitely help to pay maintenance etc to your wife.
