New lawn mower [4hp push] Briggs engine doesn't have oil drain plug, instruction manual instructs turning mower over draining oil out through fill spout, tried it once, a messy absurd task. This suction gun works perfectly, makes changing oil fast and simple. Insert hose down fill spout, pump handle sucking out all old oil in seconds, no fuss or mess. I'm using this gadget for all small engine oil changes, even small engines containing drain plugs, formerly draining oil through drain plug meant catching old oil in pan which required draining into recycling container and cleaning, this should be included with every mower, at least mentioned in mower maintenance instructions, do yourself a favor, get one before next small engine oil change!
