Its compact, ergonomic design complements the Catit Multi Feeder for a complete feeding station. The energy-efficient pump operates quietly, ensuring fresh, oxygenated water that entices even the most selective cats to drink more. Trusted by experts and loved by cats, it’s a top-rated solution for maintaining your pet’s hydration and wellbeing.

## Description

The Catit Flower Fountain is based on the successful Catit Drinking Fountain and has a fresh, unique design that allows up to 3 different water flow settings to appeal to picky drinkers! When plugged in without accessories, the Flower Fountain provides a gently flowing water surface. Inserting the flower accessory creates long, faucet-like streams of water. The flower is easy to add to (or remove from) the fountain. Adding the flower cap will tone down the bubbling water on top, so give this setting a try if your cat would rather play with the water than drink from it. The Flower Fountain includes a Triple Action Filter to help prevent urinary tract diseases. The Catit Triple Action filter removes magnesium and calcium from tap water. These minerals can accumulate in your pet’s lower urinary tract and lead to urinary tract diseases, a common health issue for cats. Active Carbon removes odors and impurities, and retains stray hairs, sediment and debris. The Flower Fountain is easy to disassemble and clean and has an ergonomic design matching the Catit Multi Feeder. Combine the two for a complete dining experience! The Catit Flower Fountain is compatible with the Catit Senses 2.0 Water Softening Filters. Low power usage. Catit is focused on creating cat enrichment toys for all cats especially indoor cats. Cat toys for indoor cats should encourage a cat’s natural foraging and hunting behaviors. Our Catit Senses 2.0 line has created a wide variety of cat toys, with this in mind. To keep your cat interested, you need to change their toy set-up often, Catit Senses 2.0 is the only interactive cat toy series that allows you to create new and exciting setups for your cat, quickly and easily! Each toy was designed to activate and stimulate your cat’s unique senses, all in one fresh, green style to match any home interior, no matter the arrangement.

Review: Wirecutter's Top Choice Pet Fountain - There's a reason Wirecutter ranked this product number one for cat water fountains. It's currently quite difficult to choose a pet fountain, precisely because there are so many on the market. But there are several good reasons to select this fountain over the others. Firstly, Catit has proven to be a reliable, longstanding, and quality brand. There's a reason local pet stores carry Catit and not other random brands you'll find here on desertcart. They've been around for years now and consistently get great marks from customers and review sites alike. This product in particular is quality – the pump works flawlessly, water flow levels and height-options are perfect, and its simplistic design is hassle-free. There isn't an overabundance of parts that may break over time. Secondly, consider that since Catit is the biggest pet fountain brand, you will have certain advantages over other, smaller brands. Most importantly, filters are way cheaper, higher quality, and easier to find for this fountain. You can locate everything from multipacks to off-brand replacements on desertcart. That's not something you'll see with other brands. Brand recognition also brings better customer service, easier returns, and a bigger troubleshooting community. Lastly, this product simply works better than other offerings. It has the perfect noise level, which is actually quite subtle and doesn't sound like a dripping faucet or flowing sink. It's also much easier to refill compared to other models. I've owned several cat fountains, and most of them have two fatal flaws. First, they can be surprisingly difficult to open up, resulting in broken plastic, difficulty in refilling, and struggles with replacing oddly shaped filters. This Catit model, on the other hand, can be refilled without moving any parts, doesn't have any interlocking or snapping plastic, and features a very simple “donut” shaped filter. I especially love how easy the filters are to replace. A second fatal flaw this product avoids is much more critical. It doesn't clog and overflow like other models. Thanks to the donut-shaped filter, cat hair and gunk won't cause ports to plug up – which can result in motor failure and overflowing fountains. And yes – I have had this happen with other competitors. I would 100% recommend this product over any other cat water fountain, many of which I have personally tried. Shopping for these fountains can be an absolute pain. But trust Wirecutter, other reviewers, and my cat - Catit is the way to go.
Review: Friends, family and most importantly, my cat all love it! - It's really cute and my family and friends have complemented the fountain when they see it. Even though it's plastic, it stays pretty clean thanks to the way it's built. The way it works is that the filter goes underneath the internal green surface under the flower so any water that goes back into the bucket is cat hair and food free. This keeps the motor running smoothly since there is no worry about food/cat hair clogging it up. It does still need to be cleaned periodically though since the usual slime that builds up in any bowl or fountain is still apparent. I've noticed that after a two or so weeks, there appears to be some sort of foam that builds up in the little pool that exists on the side (where the water goes back down). Rinsing off the filter works well enough to remedy that for another few weeks. I only change the filter once it gets to the point where the rate of the water draining is so slow that you can see the water building up to the emergency drain line even though the fountain isn't that full. My cat loves this fountain and drinks from it all the time. You can choose to use just the flat surface so water does a soft flow over the surface being draining back down, making it so a little bubbler occurs that they can drink from, or with the flower, it makes 5 little streams of falling water. The noise level depends on where you put it. I have it in the corner and on tile floor so the noise is a bit louder but not to an annoying degree. It's more of a muted buzzing sound. Out of the corner and on a surface that isn't tile, it's extremely quiet. The water level also determines the loudness of the motor - the less water, the louder it is for obvious reasons. The reason I had bought this fountain was because I noticed my cat was barely drinking any water. At first she was little afraid of it but was also super intrigued and did the usual sniff, back off, sniff, lick, back off dance. After a few minutes she started drinking greedily from it and continues to do so (yay!). I have had other fountains before but I chose this one over other fountains because it was easy to clean and because it promised that it would keep out anything that wasn't water from the pool which meant the water she drank was always guaranteed to be clean and the motor wouldn't clog. This I promise is completely true, as long as you use a filter. The only negative is the filters are a little pricey and third-party filters (like the one I'm currently using) aren't as high quality. The third-party one I bought has it so Instead of the yellow or black area filling up the entire quarter of the circle, it's more like a little square piece that's within that quarter, held together by the plastic underneath and the white filter material on the top.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a way to purchase just the water pump? Mine stopped working.**
A: YES! But Two things 1. Don't buy from Catit. 2. test the USB adapter first! 1. This green flower model uses a 'USB-1020 3W USB Brushless Submersible Water Pump' this is actually a generic part. Copy that description over to ebay, you'll find it for about $7-8. I did this and it's exactly the same thing. but.. 2. test your USB adapter that goes into the wall. I got the new pump and then discovered it wasn't the pump, it was the power adapter. You can use practically any usb wall adapter for this.

**Q: Is it easly flipped? My cats like to flip their water bowls over.**
A: Depending on your cat, my cat likes to get into everything. So eventually he was prying his paw underneath the lip of the blue top to get down into the fountain and play with the pump. Most of the time he just knocked the whole thing over. I tried using command hooks to hold it down and then we wrapped duct tape around the whole bottom and there was one time he managed to flip it over. But being a clean freak I didn’t like that whole idea. So we then started putting it in a pot (one wide enough but short enough they can reach their water dish with ease)

**Q: Is this a plug in or battery operated**
A: This is one of the things I especially like about it. The USB plug goes into a regular household plug, and it's very easy to detach. I'd been concerned that it might have to be located where the socket on the wall was hard to reach. - bane of my existence. You know much muscle it takes to pull some plugs out, depending on which way they're aimed? But this, USB just slips right out and back in, no problem. A battery backup might be nice but I don't know where you'd put it. The other thing I like best about this fountain is that it's so simple.

**Q: How easy is it to clean the pump?**
A: I used hydrogen peroxide. We used hydrogen peroxide and then sterile distilled water to clean trache appliance on new trache patients so I figured it would bubble good and clean the pump. I used a clean soft toothbrush because that's all I had and my cat had spit up in the thing. I quit using the filter because it just seemed like i could keep it cleaner without them. The filter just looked nasty really quick in my opinion. I have 2 and so while i am bleaching one out (not with pump in it) then I have a fresh one for her.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cats love it, holding up very well. Recommend!
*by L***T on May 14, 2020*

I've had this for about seven months now. I initially dinged it slightly for poor instructions, but that is absolutely the only complaint I could come up with about it, even after having it for a while. I have two cats, one who likes to drink from the bathroom sink (cute at first, but gets annoying) and the other who likes to drink from the toilet (eww). They both regularly drink from the Catit fountain - one very daintily and carefully, the other by kind of shoving his head in and going to town. The important point is that they're both drinking regularly, and it's reduced (but not quite eliminated) the demands from the one to turn on the bathroom sink so he can drink from that. What's impressed me, and motivated me to update my review, is how well the fountain is holding up. I fill it with water and rinse the filter out about twice a week. The pump makes a bit of noise when the water is low, which tells me to refill the fountain, but other than that it's still completely silent. The fountain looks as good as it did the when I bought it, and nothing has broken or leaked. The Catit fountain costs enough that I feel that I should be able to expect that it continues to work, but it's nice to find that it does indeed live up to my expectations. I continue to appreciate the USB power supply, which makes it easy to find exactly the right length of cord and it intrinsically safe since it's only 5 volts. The power supply that came with it continues to work well (even when I occasionally steal it to charge a phone). The filter has stayed in serviceable condition extremely well - most of the filter media is just a nonwoven fibrous filter, and rinsing it and letting it dry a couple of times a week has worked very well. It has no evidence of getting slimy or smelling bad, which are the things that would make me suspect that it's growing mold or bacteria. I've thought about cleaning it in a 10% bleach solution (obviously with a very thorough rinse afterwards) but I haven't felt it's necessary. Mostly what I find in the filter is a little bit of cat hair (to be fair, I find that everywhere in my house) and occasionally a bit of food, and it keeps those out of the main water supply and the pump. There's a bit of activated charcoal in there as well, and I'm sure that's saturated with, well, whatever was in the water, but I use bottled water in the fountain so I'm not too concerned about tap water impurities. Overall, I'm pleased with how much the cats use it, and I'm extremely pleased with its reliability. It's an excellent value for the money, and I would recommend it without reservation.
