The material was pliable and granular through and through. So it poured out of the bag easily. Not like one big chunk. I moved the material around then stomped on it. Then the car. Amazing, it held after stomping into the shape I set. It was so crumbly that I was concerned it wouldn't hold it's shape. After the car rode over it, I saw that it held and there were no significant tire marks or sunk areas where the car rode over it. I like this product a lot. And it's the best value compared to others. I just bought 4 more bags. I'll do 3 bags for the other tire and 1 more for the existing hold I just filled. This stuff is worth it. Can I use this to build a lip at end of driveway so water runs past my driveway?** A: Hello. That's not what this product is designed for, it would be a temporary fix. Cold patch needs edges to butt up to, without them it will ravel away. **Q: Would this work to fill a crack that varies in width from a half-inch to an inch?** A: it globally works. Put patch down run over with your car until compressed. The best solution is the burn in filler, pli stix. place near crack propane torch to fill hole. You can also use sand and driveway caulk. the cold patch is the easiest solution. **Q: Will this work to fill a couple of dents, maybe an inch deep, caused by hydraulic car jack wheels?** A: Yes, be sure hole is clean and overfill it by maybe half an inch. Then tamp evenly and firmly.
