The battery life is ok for a refurbished the quality was good Review: Great laptop, but sadly not fully renewed by seller so didn't get to use it much - I should start by saying I bought this as a preloved but "refurbished" item from a 3rd party seller on desertcart. I've had a Surface Pro 3 since new and am currently using a Surface Laptop 4 so know my Microsoft products. This one looked good for the price as the spec is adequate for my needs and I don't mind buying preloved items. It was in good nick - no scratches or visible damage, seemed to hold battery well for an 8 year old laptop. Impressed that it came with a charger and keyboard as I was expecting neither as a preloved item. So the item gets lots of stars as frankly they are really good, my SP3 is only being retired after 12 years due to the Win10 abandonment by Microsoft (and it's battery is really quite poor now) Sadly this one was already installed with a User and evidence of their files in the history so I started by doing a reset myself. On restart I noticed the red banner but was unable to get into the bios to correct the error as there was a password on the system! this also meant I couldn't change another aspect needed to install Windows 11 Promptly requested a return and bought one model up for a little more.
