**Q: Terrible plastic smell.  definitely not odorless.  filled right from our house tap so i don't think it came from filling. any suggestions?**

A: No.  This is only a molded tank with molded in fittings.  Nothing ellectrical

A: Yes, those are the dimensions. The connections for the hoses are on the 12 inch ends.
