Review: and it works great with one minor issue - I've been using this for half a year now, and it works great with one minor issue. I mostly use it for Euro Truck Simulator 2, but have also tried it with a variety of racing games (Burnout Paradise, Flatout, GRID) although I don't play those as often. Worth noting: it is not useful for Grand Theft Auto V, which was not designed to work with a wheel - you're better off with keyboard and mouse in that one anyway. Generally speaking, the size is good, the feel is good, it's responsive, and it has just the right number of buttons in just the right places. For several times the price, you could get a different wheel with an extra clutch pedal and a stick shift if you need those, but you probably don't. The only problem that I've had with it is that the wire that connects the wheel to the pedals has a really cheap connector (the same as used by landline phones). When I first got it, the connector frequently slipped loose. You can't really tell when that happens except that in-game you suddenly find yourself driving around everywhere in first gear or something weird like that. I carefully bent the plastic prong on the connector out so that it would snap in and hold better and no more problems after that (so far so good). They really should have used a better connector there instead of skimping to save a few pennies on a $70 product. But when it is connected properly, it works great, and I haven't had a problem since I adjusted the connector. [Edit - I've been using this wheel for 2 years now, leaving the above intact and adding new thoughts below.] I never had another problem with that connector in a year and a half after posting that, so in retrospect it was a very minor issue and not at all a significant problem. I overstated it. **Pros** - Price. Most other wheels are much more expensive, and if like me, you'd never had one before, you might hesitate to buy one, when there's a chance that you'll soon lose interest after having only used it a few times. This one is a great introductory wheel at a good price. If you do lose interest, you're not out that much, and if not, you can upgrade later. - Feel. It feels good. The size is good and the rubber grips really help. You can nudge it, and it picks up your intent. - Buttons. The button placement is excellent, especially the two thumb buttons on each side of the wheel. The more expensive wheels don't even have that. I now have a more expensive wheel, which has more buttons, but I have to fumble to hit them. I really miss those two buttons on each side. **Cons** - Limited range of motion. If you're mostly playing racing games, this may not matter much, but if you're using it for something like Euro Truck Simulator or American Truck Simulator, the limited range of motion feels very very different from maneuvering a truck in a tight space where you would turn the wheel multiple times. It is significantly more difficult to do fine adjustments and maneuvers than with the much more expensive wheels. When you're out on the highway, it's not as noticeable, but it's still a little more difficult to do fine adjustments for lane-keeping. - Deadzone. When I first got the wheel, it had a small deadzone around the center. I was able to configure games such that it didn't really matter much. Over the course of a couple of years and a lot of use, however, the deadzone gradually expanded. Given the limited range of motion, having to eventually cut a sizable chunk out of it for deadzone wasn't good. But it took a couple of years of heavy use for it to become a noticeable problem for me. **Overall** Overall I'd say it was excellent and I enjoyed it and definitely got my money's worth. I have moved on to a different (more expensive) wheel now, but I would never have done that if I hadn't had this one first and loved it.
Review: Great Entry Level Wheel for a decent price - The Thrustmaster Red Legend Edition represents a good beginners wheel, there is also the regular black edition which is essentially the same. I chose this one because I think the red goes nicely with the Ferrari Logo. Full Discretion - i did not buy this for myself. I bought two of them for a couple of my friends birthdays. I knew they had been contemplating getting wheels but considered them rather expensive. When I saw the price of this wheel and what it offered (ps3 and pc compatability) I figured i'd go for it. Now the wheel itself is all made of plastic and rubber, it actually has a great ergonomic feel and does not feel cheap as one might think. I have a modded logitech g25 for myself so i will provide a bit of comparison to that, in terms of the overall size I think this Thrustmaster takes the award it also just feels a little thicker which I find nice. Having all of the ps3 buttons on the wheel is really nice and makes for an easy overall experience. Now the force feedback isn't there so i can't really compare that to the g25, but the bungee cords wrapped inside of the wheel do provide a good counter-steering/heavy feel. It works progressively and I found this to have a really enjoyable feel when playing Dirt 3 and GT5/6(grid 2 was a bit too arcade like for a wheel). The pedals feel nice and firm, the brake is a bit stiffer which is a good touch. The paddle shifters are great and is something that the even more expensive logitech force gt does not provide...so bonus points for that! The clamp is best in the business as it trumps my g25 clamp by a longshot, the g25 was so frustrating until i got it hard mounted, there is no need for that here. Plug and play also worked flawlessly on the PC, there are drivers that you can download but honestly the wheel works just the same without them. TL;DR Pros: Prime Shipping Wheel has a great thick and ergonomic feel, despite being made of rubber and plastic. Works with both the PC and PS3 Has Paddle shifters that feel decent Best in business clamp The internal bungie cords in the wheel give it a good feel when cornering. Great Price Cons: No true force feedback (but for this price that is expected) the first one I gave to my friend worked the first day and the second day something happened to it and it wouldnt turn on....but desertcart replaced it right away, so 5 stars because desertcart really stands by their products. Not premium materials Not sure if it will work with the PS4...to be determined. This is a great beginner's wheel. Ultimately i would recommend a higher end wheel like the g27 or the thrustmaster T500 for true sim racing...but for the casual gamer that likes a more immersive experience, this is a great little starter kit for a very reasonable price! Hope this helps

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what games would work with this?**
A: Well, I am currently using in for PC Version of Need for Speed Shift. It has a switch that can be set to PC or PS3. I customized paddles and buttons without issue. I specifically wanted this wheel for a cheap and quick way to get to driving.Works well, but definitely not as well made as the more expensive wheels. However, for $54 it works well.

**Q: How long is the cord for the wheel and pedals?**
A: The cord from the pededals to wheel is 80" (6.7 ft) long.

**Q: does it work wrc4**
A: Hello,Per your question about if it will work with WRC4, according to the manaufacturer this product is noted as 100% compatible wheel in all racing games on PlayStation®3 and PC*(GT, F1, NASCAR, Rally, GRID 2, etc.)This stated by the maker, I would say no at this time. We sorry that answer you were looking forward isn't presentable for your application. Please let us know if our response was helpful in either way with a reply.Yours,Ostoreinc.

**Q: does this work for windows 8?**
A: It does. Sometimes seems a little glitchy but that's more likely the software I use rather than windows.

### ⭐⭐⭐ OK
*by A***I on July 3, 2019*

So let me start by saying I bought this wheel for forza horizon and Dirt 4/rally. It works flawlessly for dirt and all i needed to do was plug it in, but for forza, it is not supported or something just doesn't work, I have seen many other people complaining that this wheel doesn't work on forza... so id assume it's just not supported. overall it's a pretty good set for the price, there is a little room when just starting to steer that the bungee gives no resistance so it is supper sensitive in your hand. with these issues combined I will be returning this and saving up just a little more so I can buy a more mainstream, and high quality wheel.
