I cut the length to about 18" shorter. I planned on using the adhesive to affix it to the wall but I didn't even have to; it is held flush with pressure from items below and the tv mount above against the wall. I used the 2x1 latching raceway in a corner to conceal two 14 gauge and one 12 gauge wires that ran from under my house to my attack. Plenty of room and easy to install. I did not use the adhesive.
