Dell P3221D 31.5", QHD Wide 1440p LCD Monitor - 16:9 - Black

This monitor is for boomers. Nice, big, sharp, easy on the eyes, and with its resolution you won't have to mess with scaling as everyone looks as it should. As far as brightness goes, at 350 cd/m2 it's actually too bright. I drop the brightness down below 10%. Works well in a dark room. And it looks in no way as bad as the picture the other guy posted. Either that was a bad panel, or the reflection of the back of his room, or both. Either way it's a solid monitor.

I bought this to use in a dual setup with a 27" 4k Dell monitor (which I switch down to 2k). I use this for work (not gaming) and am very happy with it. The picture and text are very crisp and the picture settings are easy to customize to get them to how I like them.In addition to the picture quality, having a very customizable monitor stand and a variety of connection choices is great to have. I'm currently using the display port, I don't have a use right now for the usb-c since I'm using a desktop, but it's nice feature of the monitor.I can highly reccomend this monitor.

It’s a great monitor. Nice size. Enhanced productivity. Lots of cables. Maybe a DisplayPort to hdmi may need to be purchased depending on laptop year. Other than that happy with my purchase :)

Apple deciding that the MacBook Pro only needs two USB ports has been problematic. The fact that this monitor can use a single USB-C port to both display video and provide power to the MacBook really helps. Can also use USB ports on the monitor to charge things. Thought you might be able to move data from drives plugged into the monitor to the Mac but that doesn't work.

The size is so impressive coming from my old 20". The stand and adjustment of 4 way-tilt & elevation is really smarting thinking and designing.

I spent an afternoon setting up my home office setup to accommodate this large monitor. Left if connected to my MacBook Pro and came back later to actually use it and found the screen would not display anything. After troubleshooting it for a couple of hours, found that the DisplayPort had failed and no longer worked. Hooked up my old Dell 27 monitor and that worked fine, using the same cable, on multiple computers. Ended up boxing this back up and returning it for a full refund. Disappointing.

Hasta ahora me encanta todo. El diseño se ve profesional y elegante. El tamaño es perfecto para mi. Soy profesor de universidad trabajo con varios documentos abiertos y esto es suficiente. Funciona de maravillaCon mi MacBook pro. Un conector usb-c y no necesito conectar nada más. La única razón para cuatro estrellas es que tuve que el speaker no estaba incluido. Pero compre el Dell soundbar compatible y ahora es perfecto.

I bought this to go with a Macbook Pro I use for work, and a Macbook Air I use for personal.The monitor worked with the Macbook Pro for several months. However, when I got my new Air and tried it with USB-C, it would not display video. Then, to make matters worse - I tried the Pro again right after, and now that will not work via USB-C either. Both work with a HMDI adaptor, but at a lesser resolution. Read the help forums, and you'll see that there are similar issues reported by others.My Webcam that connected via USB-B worked off and on, unplugging and plugging back in seemed to do the trick.All of this is not acceptable for a monitor in this class and price range, so returned. Disappointed, when it was working it was really nice. Maybe PC users will have better luck
