I had a similar one of my original Quest and it blocked all the light. The flaps on this one point up and do not make contact with the nose. Very disappointing. **Q: Does the part that touches your face have a slight texture? Or is it completely smooth?** A: The face cover is made out of silicone and has smooth textures, no bumps or rigids. However, the cover feels like a thick rubber that sticks and seals you face onto your headset, so it won't slip off your face. I would recommend to wipe occasionally, especially for more movement based games, as sweat can make the cover become slippery. **Q: does this have any problems with blocking any sensors ? i've bought others and they seem to have that problem** A: I've only had one for about a month. Have not had any issues with sensor interference. **Q: Is anyone having issues with this cover interfering with the proximity sensor?** A: I have not had that problem. I do have an issue with fogging though, which was something the silicone was to eliminate. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for 'Fitness' games ! *by N***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 February 2021* Exactly what is needed if doing boxing, exercise, yoga, etc. or any games where you can get a sweat going basically!The standard foam feels really horrible once it's absorbed all the sweat and makes it very un-hygienic also.Very quick to put on, just fits right over the existing foam:First, remove the existing foam casing which is clipped into the headsetThen, place the rubber version over the top, it's a really accurate fit and has a little rubber nose piece which also stops sweat going into your mouth, bypassing it down the side of your face.Clip back on to the headset the same way it came off, and that's it !A 20 second wipe down after use and you're ready to hand over to someone else or go again or pack away.The price is a little bit steep for what it is but not horrendous. Either way, totally worth it rather than the foam going really manky over time !It's also more comfortable than the foam, it adds a layer of cushion and feels more sealed around your head and eyes. This really does help a lot with the sweating issue that is common with VR headsets, the standard foam just absorbs it whereas this reduces sweating and can be easily cleaned! But nose gap not sufficient for me *by J***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 December 2020* Fantastic cover; feels great on the skin. I just wish it came with the pad in between so you don’t need to use the stock one. However, that’s detailed in the images, so I’m not detracting any stars for that.The only problem I have with this cover, though, is that the nose cover doesn’t block the vision between my nose gap. It’s so incredibly distracting that I had to put a microfiber cloth on my nose, which falls out every time I lift the headset up to, say, sip some water, and it makes it a little hard to breathe sometimes.I don’t know why this cover has a nose cover when it doesn’t work, but maybe I just have a really small nose. Who nose?I’d recommend this if you have a relatively big nose or don’t mind a tiny gap where your nose is. Some people even like the gap because it lets you look out to the real world without taking the headset off.
