Thompsons Irish Breakfast Tea 6 x 80 Tea Bags, 1.5 kg

I used to buy Yorkshire Gold but found it to be hit or miss, sometimes a good pack and other times quite tasteless. Thompsons Irish Breakfast is consistently good and I'm glad I found it. If you like a strong cup of tea you won't be disappointed.

A blisteringly good brew! Do it to the honour of making it in the pot with freshly boiled water and giving it a good stir.

Thompsons tea bags make the best tea ever will not use anything else since I found these teabags good value for money but you can’t beat a good cup of tea and these do that

Robust breakfast tea I have a slight preference for the Thomsons decaffeinated tea bags but these are very good

I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. The tea has a lovely flavour. One slight gripe - and not insurmountable - is that the pairs of teabags have a small slit between them so it is better to actually use scissors to separate them as tearing down from the cut area can leave too narrow a margin so the teabag bursts more easily when stirring the tea, (to the dismay of the person who then drinks it!). They are also inclined to burst when squeezing them so a gentle approach is recommended. I shall certainly buy again though.

Very nice tea, I only use one bag in my medium sized pot because it is a strong tea.
