The packaging states "for scar and surgical wound management". It also says its not for open wounds. Based on that I would think you can use it on mosquito bite scars, but even for surgical scars, there's no guarantee. I believe another variable would be how long you've had the scar before treatment. The surgeon who recommended it knows those who make it and he's impressed enough to make it part of his recovery instructions. I have an appointment with him next week. If you want to wait, I'll ask for his advice and then update this answer. **Q: Can this be used on a toddler?** A: Yes, but we would caution you to make sure they keep it out of their eyes/ mouth, as toddlers may want to touch it and then rub their eyes and/ or put their hands in their mouth. **Q: I had a breast reduction and my surgeon recommended scar fade. what size tube would you recommend? does the product get used up quickly? thanks!** A: You will get the best results by applying the product twice daily for up to 12 weeks.
