I bought it for my suede purse and that’s all I have used it for. **Q: how do you use it?** A: You brush it over your shoes and you scrub area your trying to clean **Q: would this work for velvet shoes?** A: i dont see why not. I used it on a sheepskin jacket to take out a stain, and it worked great. I would use the brush lightly on the velvet, as the brush is pretty abrasive. **Q: Can you use this to take suntan oil off a suede leather chair?** A: I'm not completely sure but I do were hair wax and my bed is all suede. My headboard gets black after time from me leaning on it asbo watch tv or read.I bought this to try and get the stain out and it worked like a charm. A la primera que pasé la goma, se empezó a ver el color si no el original, se veía un color bastante rojito y bonito!!! No cuesta trabajo y deja muy satisfecho el resultado con sólo seguir las instrucciones y ya!!! Gracias a este producto estoy usando nuevamente los mejores amigos de mis pies..
