I got little craft zippered bags (they have different sizes at WalMart, etc) They are inexpensive and I write on each bag with a marker (day of week, what's in the bag - if it's a single type of medication, etc) **Q: The description says it's 11 x 7 x 3. Is that when it's folded up, or when it's open?** A: When it is open the measurements are 17x7, when closed it is4x7. This is my second set of the Pill cases I have gotten. They last about 3-4 years with everyday use. I originally got them for traveling, but found that I love them for every day use.I got 2 sets and that way I am always ready for a trip. I just grab them and take them in my suitcase. I use them daily. I take the next days out each evening and that way if I am on the run, I just throw them in my purse or pocket and do not have to worry about taking a bunch of bottles for my pills.
