The molds do the job. I didn't take the time to trim the base on some pieces as this was just a fun project. First time! The chocolates are organic. White chocolate seems to be hardest to work with. I noticed refrigerating v. freezing reduces the chance of the pieces cracking, e.g., pawn's head.Players will use small tongs to move the pieces (or eat the pieces they capture!). Overall, very satisfied.

Not the greatest but for the price it is adequate. We used these for resin casting.

Good shapes but creates a big mess
When I bought it I thought that 2 pieces were joined however you need to tie a with an elastic band to hold the 2 pieces together .Half of the time the chocolate was dripping out or did not spread correctly.I like the molds but hoped they were joined together for creating seamless shaped
