Sharp bone particles
At first I thought this food was the solution to switching to a raw diet. No mess, no freezer burn etc. Initially my dig seemed to like it well enough, nothing exciting a few bites here and there. Then he started to really go for it. Well unfortunately, this food gave him terrible diarrhea and bloody stool. Not sure how sharp the "ground bone" particles are, but if you crush the kibble, sharp pieces can easily be found. I stopped the food immediately and within a week poo was better and no blood. I like the concept of this food, but maybe the bone needs to be ground finer. Until there's a product change. This food is trashed. And yes, I followed feeding guidelines.

Never ever again!
First bag; food was rock hard. Seller sent replacement. Within 2 days, one dog was throwing up & one has bad diarrhea!! This is all I changed! I only gave a tablespoon of this as a topper & both are sick! My 7 year old lab has never thrown up in her life; not once, until eating this! I asked the manufacturer if the meat for this dog food ever grazed on/or was fed anything with pesticides and they refused to answer!! My guess is the origin of this meat is in question. Ask yourself, I’ve asked in 3 different places & cannot get a real response!

Wonderful
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. All natural raw dog food small pieces perfect for a small dog. My picky eater loves it and she's eating healthy. See video I took in my kitchen we are remodeling; still painting wall and ceiling lol!The pieces are very small and have sharp edges. I would not recommend feeding your dog this product without adding the warm water. The directions call for adding 2 tablespoons of water for 1/3 cup which is the amount I give my small dog; just to give you an idea it does not need much water.Adding the water does not make a "gravy". It just softens/hydrates it enough to make it like a kibble. This type: they have others: Real meat beef super food - smells a bit like liver when you add the hot/warm water.

Magic Food
I used to have dogs years ago. You know, the kind who steal food if they had a chance, who perfected the art of begging snacks from good hearted family members - leading to the need of doggy diets. Then came Radar. My five pound love bug will truly hold out if a food doesn't appeal to him. I have taken pics of him, six or seven little plates of food (all rated 5 star by dogfoodadvisor.com), all refused. It is also a challenge to find something that is soft enough for his tiny teeth, yet not too big - or too small (he chews each kernel completely), or mushy (yes, he will refuse food that might stick to his muzzle). And before anyone jumps in with suggestions of giving him raw food - I tried that. Three times. When once I finally chopped the raw chicken off the bone, and he finished it (yes, I have in to his yipping demands that I do so - it *is* true that Papillions have staff, rather that owners), he dragged the bone throughout my apt.It seemed he considered it a toy, rather than something he should chew. Since I do not love having salmonella spread all around me, that was the last time I tried raw.But this dehydrated, raw food is the first food I have bought him that he consistently will eat every day! I still will give him some cooked meat occasionally, sometimes with his other favorite, their beef topper (which is like dog crack, lol!) This beef flavor is his favorite, but he likes the turkey, too. I also found a flat Kong disc that he loves - I put his food in that, and he has enough of a challenge to keep that intelligent mind challenged. And while, at first glance, it seems expensive, my dog is so tiny that I can afford it. Plus, I'm saving money by not buying endless supplies of food he refuses to touch.

THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A NICE TREAT FOR MY DOGS
I bought this because I thought it would be a nice treat for my dogs. I have 2 Maltese dogs who are currently on Blue Buffalo dog food. Long story short: my dogs won't eat this product. They tasted it, but refused to eat it even when I left it there for a couple of days. They would rather starve than eat this food; which is very pricey indeed. Almost $30 for 14 oz. An expensive lesson.

We have a finicky eater and have found that he only like freeze dried raw dog food
New for us dog food. We have a finicky eater and have found that he only like freeze dried raw dog food. We are always looking for new brands to add to the rotation because he seems to be happier with a variety. We do not mix with water because he likes the crunchy texture and will not eat it if it softens up at all. He always drinks a good quantity of water when he is done eating though.Quick delivery. Rated 5 stars by Dog Food Adviser, and our dog...perfect!
