Adventure Lion Premium Waterproof Dry Bags for Kayaking, Camping, Boating | 5, 10, 20, 40L

Love this bag! This was the perfect size to store electronics and wallet and sunglasses in while snorkeling. We would sometimes be away from the beach for up to an hour snorkeling and did not want to leave our valuables unattended. I must admit that, for extra protection, I stored my smart phone and my husbands wallet in a smaller waterproof bag (also purchased from Amazon) and then put that inside the Adventure Lion Dry Sack. I snorkeled with the dry sack on my back by putting the strap across my body (like a cross body handbag) and then throwing the bag on my back while snorkeling. I would have to adjust it periodically when it slipped over and was on top of the water, but this was really no big deal and did not interfere with my snorkeling at all. I am a surface snorkeler so the bag worked great for me, since I do not dive below the surface. I probably snorkeled with this bag on 4 separate occasions and it only leaked once. However, I am still giving it 5 stars because I believe it to be my fault the bag leaked. The first use, I squeezed as much air out of the bag as possible - bad idea - and it got a little water in the bottom of the bag. The other three times, I left the bag as full of air as possible, and folded the top down 4 times and then clamped the ends together and did not get any water inside the bag - making it more buoyant when snorkeling. This bag was a perfect size for your small valuables and for snorkeling. Personally, I would not try to snorkel with the larger dry sacks, although I did purchase one to keep our beach towels in, etc... - used it as a water proof beach bag. I would definitely purchase again.

This is the first product review ever. Not sort of person who leaves reviews...even if it's really bad. A product has to utterly exceed my expectations one way or the other.GREAT PRODUCT (P): High quality product that is easy to use and handle; it performed as described - protected valuable items from water. Went snorkeling for about an hour and took about 5 dives (~15 ft)...there was about 5 tablespoons of water inside when all said and done (I enclosed items in a ziplock bag which provided additional protection). In the end, 100% dry items - 3 smartphones, a wallet, small purse, etc.GREAT SERVICE (S): Amazon indicated a color RED as a choice. They sent me PINK indicating that they do not carry RED and their invoice states pink. They brought to my attention that they do not carry a red color and offered to quickly resolve the matter. Terrific communication and honest consideration for customers' satisfaction.GREAT PEOPLE (P): There must have been more than a dozen email exchanges - not because of problems, but to ensure that my needs, as a customer, were met and that I was satisfied with their product. The tone, presentation, delivery, etc. of their communication always had a touch of consulting professionals coupled with warm and friendly care of a next door neighbor.This is a company with great PSP that I would not hesitate recommending. A terrific product without putting a dent in your pocket...hope this helps.(To set the context, I am not an extreme outdoor adventurous individual, but I travel extensively exploring more than an average person. Accordingly, I perform extensive research about my destinations and products I need to take with me.)

If you want an underwater bag, this is not it. If you want a bag that is waterproof and can take moments of submersion, this one will work perfectly. It's a rubber bag with sealed seams. I need a bag to keep some things dry while on a 40 mile dune buggy trip and zip line excursion through a rainforest. The 5 star review is because this bad will absolutely meet my needs. I ordered the size 20 (see pic for what I stuffed in it - also keep in mind I'm an XL size). I love the single strap verses two backpack style straps. However, if you will be wearing for long periods - like hiking - you will need a strap pad (not included). This bag is durable but does not have padding. If you want to carry something like a laptop, put it in a padded case first. Also, if you have anything that absolutely must not get damp, like a mobile device or passport, I always put in a small zip lock baggie for a second level of protection - just in case. I'm completely pleased with this purchase, especially for the price. I'm going to purchase several more as gifts. Shipping was fast.

Read the reviews and this bag met and exceeded expectations. Tested the bag by filling with newspaper, folding over 4 times and submerging in a sink for 5 minutes. Not a drop got in. Took it for a weekend of canoe camping on a mix of smooth river and rapids in the middle of Pennsylvania. Had massive thunderstorms come through three times over the weekend including a big 3 hour deluge Saturday night. The Sea Lion bag kept my wallet, phone, and other items perfectly dry despite all the water we took into our boat, and while the bag was sitting outside our tent all night in the rain. The material is pliable and offers some cushioning, but is also tough and tear resistant, and it was easy to fold the bag over as described. The size was what I expected and I easily fit all my dry gear in it. Allowing some air to remain in the bag assures it will float, and the strap made it easy to clip around the cross-bar in the canoe. I wish our tent had performed as well as this bag!
