My son loves it
I bought this recently for my 5 1/2 year old son, and he loves it. It looks like a fancy cell phone, and the words don't make any sense to him, but he still thinks it's great. He likes the strange words, and says they are magic words. He carries it around with him, clips it on his belt, wants to show all his friends, and thinks it's the "coolest toy ever". I recommend it to any Power Ranger's fan. It's not high tech, but for the price, it's an entertaining toy.

Addressing a review directly...
As an avid fan of this season in particular, let me start by addressing the words in the spell codes from the phone. All of the words actually HAVE foreign roots, and mean something. Let me break it down:1: Galwit; from the Welsh root of “Galw”, which means “call”(that one was obvious).2: Mysto; from the Greek word “Mustes”, which means “Secret”.3: Ranger: Yeah, it sounds normal, but it’s from the French term “Rangier”, which means “Assemble Troops In a row”(again, obvious).4: Motro; this is one of the few that is directly taken from its origin, Latin. It means “Move” or “Motor”. (Duh!)5: Prifior; another Welsh origin, this one, the Welsh “Prifio”, which means “Grow”.6: Unios; from the Latin word “Unus” which means “One”( or “United/Union”, depending on how far you wanna stretch it).7: Du; from the Latin “Duo”, meaning “Two” (Again, duh).8: Tryn; From the Latin word “Trinus” meaning “Third”.9: Aerotan; from the Greek word “Aer” meaning “Air”( I promise, this is the last “Duh” moment on this list). Finally, 0: Neramax. This one has two roots: “Nerth”, which is a Welsh word meaning “Power”; and “Maximus”, a Latin base word meaning “Maximum” or “greatest”. Now that we went through the list, enjoy the morpher.

What is a mystic morpher and what does it do?
Power Rangers Mystic Force as some of you might know was adapted from the Japanese Show "Mahou Sentai Magiranger" and in that they use this device Called the Magi Phone (Mystic Morpher) to transform into rangers and do various spells as they are magicians. In the show Magiranger, their phrases made a lot of sense and were actual phrases such as "heavenly saints grant us this mystical power" so the Magi Phone is a good and fun toy.But in the show Power Rangers Mystic Force, the Mystic Morpher that's used for similar purposes as the Magi Phone is a bit of a disappointment, as most of the phrases make no sense what so ever. Most of the words like "Galwit, Mysto" and so forth are made up words, which I believe if you were a younger fan it would really confuse you.But I have to admit this toy was really fun when I first got it but then gradually I got bored of it mainly because I'm a collector and I am a huge fan of Magiranger, but I have to agree with one of the previous reviewers and say that it's better to stick to the other merchandise than this. Because the words are mere nonsense and I can see a child get really bored of it. So since Power Rangers is targeted for the younger generation I'd say that this toy could have been more "kid friendly".Now as for the phone it self it fits in your hand very nicely and there are 2 different modes (cell phone mode and wand mode)It comes with a button on the right side of the phone that can be pushed to open it up. But for some odd reason to transform it into a wand it has to be done manually, which I thought was a really poor choice that the makers made, because the Japanese Version of this toy there is a button which you can press to automatically transform it into a wand.As for durability this phone seems sounds so fragile because Squeaking sounds can be heard from the hinges. The keypad consists of an enter button and two buttons to the left and right of the it with a picture of a phone which really is just a button that severs no purpose. And like your basic phone it has a keypad of 1 through 0. Each number stands for a different word. For example when you press number 1 + enter you'll hear the word "Galwit". Here is a list of all the words the numbers stand for:1: Galwit2: Mysto3: Ranger4: Motro5: Prifior6: Unios7: Du8: Tryn9: Aerotan0: Nermax(As you can see except for the word "ranger" the rest look like butchered words from the English language.)You can combine numbers such as 2+3+4+Enter and it will basically combine and say the phrase "Mysto Ranger Motro" that's the basic feature of it and you can combine up to 4 numbers. Now as for contents what you get is a Mystic Morpher, a clip that you can attach onto the back of the morpher and slid onto your belt, and a set of instructions, as you usually would get with all morphers. This morpher like any past morphers require 2 AAA batteries to operate it. The sound is pretty low in that morpher.

NOT MUCH TO IT and MADE CHEAP!
My son has had this toy for about a month now. As soon as the show debuted he wanted this. I have to say that for the most part it sits in the house with no play time. I think that is because there is nothing really to this toy. The sound quality is AWFUL. The volume is so low you can barely hear the phrases. It is supposed to turn into a wand but as another reviewer stated this has to be done manually and not by the push of a button. Also it looks like the end of the wand should light up, but NO it is just clear plastic. With all the other electronic toys out there and what they show on the TV series Bandai could have made this item have a few more features. I guess you get what you pay for and with this toy not very much.

Should make it more better
well i'm a collector of the pr toys and i gotta say the morphers are getting really bad every year.i got this toy and played with it which i kinda fool with.the morpher is easy to break and not that loud as the originals were.the wand doesnt pop out like the show does and u have to do it urself.the codes are all remade not like the japanese ones and u can specifically see in the show its way different form ours.in japanese the morphing sequence was 1-0-6 but for ours is 1-2-3 which is too simple and very stupid.every times bandai releases things b4 it even aires is very bad and screw up the toy line like the omega morpher in s.p.d. which the toy came out b4 the show did and they took out his judgement mode.every code for the american one is remade and not the japanes one.this toy is fun to play with but when u have to flip the wand it get annoying.hopefully they wont screw up the gold rangers morpher

Good, fun toy ...
After reading the mixed reviews about this toy, I was a little hesitant to buy it, but my 5 year old twins are really enjoying the new series, so I though I'd go ahead and buy the Morphers. Here is my own mixed review: They love the "mystic" language, and pressing different "codes" to make magical spells. The toy looks great. The sound is very low. You really have to play with this in a quiet room (or the car) to hear the words and sounds. The boys also mentioned the flip out part, that makes it into a wand, doesn't flip out on by itself like on the tv show. All in all, I think they will have a lot of fun with this toy, it just could have been even better.
