When she wanted to use the markers I told her to take the blade out & replace it with the marker & she was off & running again.I would buy extra blades if I were you because they will dull if you use your machine alot.Great machine for so many things wish I had one when I was in school doing science fairs.Shipping was also quicker than I thought it would be.
