This hard drive has been running in my Lorex NVR 24/7 for the last 5 years and 3 months, without a single issue. (and still going strong) It's not used in ideal conditions either, its located in my non-climate controlled work shop. Its very dusty, hot and humid in the summer and at or below freezing temps in the winters. I previously used Seagate Skyhawk and WD Purple drives, none of which last more than a year or two in these same conditions. 100% recommended!
