All these slices are from sourwood trees and are perfect!!! The bark is completely intact all the way around and is very pronounced and unique each slice and they are gorgeous! Each slice is about 3/16" thick. The diameter of each is between 2-3". These are all natural raw wood. Sourwood is one of the most desired woods os all. They do require a bit more preparation, as they come green and unsanded, but it doesn't take a significant amount of time to get them ready for use. Mine came with some interesting bark patterns-some had an almost floral look to them-with lichen on a few pieces. The bark is a fair bit more pronounced than the stock photo, but variation is to be expected with a product like this. All and all, I'm pretty happy with them! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great... These must have been freshly cut, or stored outside because they arrived really wet. So wet, in fact, that the shippers packaging fell apart and it arrived with an apology from the post office in a plastic bag. If they dry flat, they will be great, but I'm concerned as some are drying out bowed and/or cracking.
