This was causing the eyelet to bounce around when going over bumps, etc. I have a Fabtech lift kit installed and the FTS7333 shock that was on there was completely black so I ordered another one and it fit perfectly, looks great, and performs as it should. No more noise! The shock arrived without a band around it but it stayed compressed, I was told this is normal. Lots of hardware (as pictured in ad) for various truck models and bolt diameters included. You may require a hydraulic press or C-clamp to push in the cylindrical metal eyelet bushing part. That’s what I used and it got the job done. WD-40 is your friend.
