Since this is a 3/4 drive set for "for the shop" rather than personal, I looked at the Snap-On set which was 4X as expensive, pinched my nose and placed an order. When I opened the box, I was shocked. the plastic case is really well made, and has a second set of side latches [someone as Sunex actually thinks]. When I picked up the sockets I was stunned. They aren't as pretty as Snappy's but they are VERY well made, not highly polished...remember they are impact sockets. The tolerances are very good, and the machining is excellent. I took a couple of photos comparing a 46mm from this set with a 46mm 1/2 drive Snap On socket [see below] and and the wall thicknesses are similar. I will stick with Snap On for my chrome hand sockets, but Sunex really does make good tools, and we will clearly buy more from them. Review: Sunnex for the win - Great 3/4 set. When they arrived I was impressed with the quality! Very nice tools! It should be noted that the case is apparently intended for shipping only.
