Used for an outdoor pond. Adhesive is very sticky and rain has not loosened any spots. Works great! Lights are very bright and even though it is a shaded area that gets minimal sun, the lights work all night.

Been a good string of lights. The adhesive strip has worked well even hanging on wood upside down.

These strip lights have an adhesive backing which should make them easy to install. Unfortunately the adhesive sticks to the protective cover tape instead of the strip light. At least 90% of the adhesive pulls off when you remove the cover tape. If you look at the strip light near the bottom of the picture you will see a few small patches of adhesive that stayed on the strip light. I had to cut and apply double-sided tape to the strip lights in order to install them. Would not buy again.Update: One of the 2 strips I bought stopped working after 1 day of use. It's mounted pretty high up so it will be a real pain to get down but I'll do it to return it. Looking at similar lights from other sellers they all seem to have these problems, probably all from the same manufacturer.Update 2: Decided to try one last thing before taking it down - replaced the battery, and it worked. The original is a 600mah Ni-MH of very poor quality (see pic) I've come across these before and they're no good. I installed a name brand 2000mah Ni-MH and now it stays lit until 4AM. At least I don't have to go through the hassle of returning it.

Needed to super glue the strip in places mostly because of the application I was using them for. (Behind outdoor wall art.) The adhesive may suffice for a flat surface. Couldn't get the to come on on night but they worked the next. All in all great look and worth the money.

Worked perfectly for the purpose I used them for. Backlit some signs I have outside and being able to cut to fit and solar powered was exactly what I wanted. Very bright, too!

I bought these solar panel string lights for my ramp so if we go out at night my husband can see the ramp going up toward the porch but they've been up for about a month and a half and now they're not working. They are solar panel but there is no connection if I put my hand over the charger the lights go on they'll go on at night when it gets dark and then they'll go off and stay off what do I need to do

Used them to light the interior of my custom built mailbox. They work fantastic. I severed the lines installing the box on the mount, but was able to solder them back together no problem. The solar charging system works great and they provide light for almost the entire night. It
